Job Type: Full-time, long-term contractor; Workplace: Remote; Schedule: Full-time, aligned with U.S. business hours (Eastern Time Zone) 5 am-2 pm EST M-F; Compensation: $1500 - $2000 USD.
We're seeking a C1/C2 English speaker to serve as our primary communication bridge between our Denver team and supply chain vendors across Asia. This role involves real-time vendor relationship management, production tracking, and procurement support in a fast-paced consumer goods environment. You'll work directly with our Procurement Manager and Controller to streamline operations and move away from slow email chains toward immediate problem-solving. The position requires working during Asian business hours to address supply chain issues as they arise. Responsibilities- Manage vendor relationships and serve as primary communication bridge with Asian manufacturing partners to ensure clear instruction execution
- Monitor production timelines and coordinate between multiple vendors to maintain project schedules and flag potential delays
- Support procurement and administrative functions including data entry, purchase orders, and documentation maintenance
- Resolve supply chain issues in real-time during Asian business hours to keep production on track
- Build and maintain strong relationships with factories, mills, and print houses to facilitate smooth operations
- English language proficiency at the C1 or C2 level, validated through a standardized assessment or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of documented professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or vendor management roles.
- Verifiable experience within the apparel or textile manufacturing industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of garment production processes and textile manufacturing workflows.
- Prior experience with a U.S.-headquartered company involving direct vendor management in Asian markets.
- Documented success in vendor relationship management and production coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, supported by skills assessment or professional certification.
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, including specific examples of implementation.
- Some college-level coursework completed in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Ability to problem-solve in real time during Asian business hours with minimal supervision.
