Job Description

Essence of the job:

To implement, monitor, and assure compliance with transformation and statutory governance requirements at the Mine. The role drive Employment Equity, Mining Charter and Social and Labour Plan workforce commitments, ensuring accurate reporting, audit readiness and sustainable inclusion outcomes that safeguard the mine's regulatorystanding and social license to operate by ensuring:

  • Transformation and Employment Equity Governance (EEPlan)
  • General Employment Equity Advisory and Compliance dutiesEE/SLP consultations)
  • Inclusive workforce advancement and GBVF Governanceoversight (monitor compliance)
  • Statutory and Regulatory Compliance (Reporting)
  • Mining Charter and Social and Labour Plan Workforcecoordination (Monitor and track)
  • Budget and cost control
  • People management
  • Work ethics.
Qualification:

(Essential unless otherwise indicated)

  • Grade 12.
  • B. Tech / Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Honours Human Resources /Leadership equivalent (Recommended).
Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years operational HR Generalist experience (EE, Recruitment, Labour Relations, Skills Development).
  • Minimum of one (1) years Supervisory / Management experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in Employment Equity planning and statutory reporting, experience interacting with regulators (DMR, DOL, Municipalities); exposure to Mining Charter, SLPand BBBEE workforce compliance processes, experience presenting to governance forums and engaging with unions.
