Role Summary

Culinary strategy and innovation are top of mind at Sun International. The re established Group Executive Chef role, held by former Time Square Complex Executive Chef Adrian Vaughan, focuses on standardising food safety and food costs across the hospitality group's properties-including Sun City, Time Square, Boardwalk, Table Bay, Wild Coast, GrandWest, Carnival City, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardise food safety and food cost management across multiple properties.
  • Lead on site visits, deep dives into kitchen operations, and collaborate closely with General Managers and Executive Chefs.
  • Train and develop chefs and culinary talent within the organisation, building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure consistency across properties while celebrating regional uniqueness and supporting creative menu design.
  • Provide guidance on food costs, food safety, and recipe management.
