Overview

An exciting career opportunity exists at Kawari for a Stock Clerk, this position is based in Cape Town. This role will be responsible for Put Away and Replenishment of stock according to written SOPs and Maintaining of stock according to (FIFO/FEFO).

Job Functions
  • Ensure that all your daily functions and operations comply to KDC's written SOPs, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and KDC's Quality Management System.
  • Adherence to good housekeeping practises.
  • Adherence to FIFO/FEFO, and reporting of soon to expired stock to relevant supervisor.
  • Put away received stock according to company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Good Wholesaling and Distribution Practices (GWDP).
  • Replenishment of stock in the warehouse according to company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Good Wholesaling and Distribution Practices (GWDP).
  • Handling of stock during the put-away and replenishment process to eliminate damages and report any such damages immediately to the warehouse manager.
  • Assist with stock investigations.
  • Assist with removal of expired stock, recalled stock and damaged stock from warehouse shelves.
  • Any other task as requested by Warehouse manager or Supervisor, within employee's scope of employment.
  • Participate in regular cycle counts and annual stock take.
  • Any ad hoc functions as instructed by line manager.
  • Ability to prioritise large work load.
  • Ability to maintain policy guideline within pressured situations.
  • Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice with strict timelines / deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime during high pressure periods.

Qualifications

Grade 12

Experience

2-3 years' experience within a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
