The SpecialistQMP will support quality management for procured parts during industrialization and series production. The role ensures compliance of supplied components and processes, manages documentation, represents specifications and expectations to suppliers, and drives quality initiatives across the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage quality of procured parts in industrialization and series production.
  • Verify and secure all aspects of supplied components and related processes (ISIR, re-qualifications, etc.).
  • Maintain documentation in relevant systems (IPQ or equivalent).
  • Represent quality requirements and manage supplier contributions in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Ensure all technical and non-technical resources are in place at suppliers per agreed specifications.
  • Identify, address, and escalated deviations according to standards.
  • Initiate and support escalation/de-escalation processes when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Mechanical engineering background with strong knowledge in:
  • Materials and tools
  • Quality control and joining technologies
  • Feasibility confirmations and industrialization
  • Measurement judgment and geometry control
  • Tool and equipment validations
  • CAD interpretation (passive)
  • Solution-oriented mindset with focus on prevention and sustainability
  • Quality management system (QMS) knowledge
  • Process and product audit skills (e.g., VDA 6.3)
Advantageous Skills
  • Preventive quality planning
  • Value stream mapping and Kaizen
  • Maintenance/TPM and troubleshooting skills
  • Organizational development and effective communication
  • Structured approach in own work and in guiding suppliers
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing quality management
  • Readiness to travel extensively to supplier sites (>50%)
  • Active, self-motivated, proactive approach within team environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team
  • Strong focus on solution-driven and sustainable practices
