Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking

Responsibilities
  • New Business Acquisition is responsible for driving new business growth by securing clients for Standard Bank's fleet management solutions.
  • This role requires a strong hunter mindset, excellent networking capabilities, and a high closing ratio to successfully convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Actively identify, target, and acquire new clients to expand the fleet management portfolio.
  • Leverage industry connections and market insights to generate high-quality leads and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Present and position fleet cards, managed maintenance, full maintenance leasing, and Standard Bank's value added products to meet client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate key markets and industries.
  • Effectively convert leads into signed agreements through strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Work closely with relationship managers and internal teams to ensure a seamless client acquisition process.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed new business acquisition targets through proactive engagement and deal execution.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Type of Qualification: First Degree
  • Field of Study: Business Commerce
Experience Required
  • 3-4 yearsExperience within the Fleet management industry.
  • Experience in sales, service and deal making.
  • Experience in Fleet Card, Full maintenance rental and management maintenance
