# Solar Sales Representative (C&I) Job Category: Job Type: Job Location: ABOUT THIS ROLE A growing organisation in the renewable energy space, based in Johannesburg, is seeking a driven Solar Sales Representative to focus on business development and solution-based selling across key sectors such as automotive manufacturing, warehousing, distribution centres, and data centres.This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-growth industry, where your technical understanding and ability to close deals will directly impact business success. WHAT YOU WILL DO Drive new business development within the commercial and industrial solar market Conduct site assessments and detailed client needs analyses Design and propose tailored solar solutions Engage with clients across automotive, warehousing, distribution, and data centre sectors Build and maintain relationships with large resellers and key stakeholders Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing Work closely with internal technical and project teams Present proposals and negotiate commercial agreements Stay up to date with market trends and renewable energy developments WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Proven experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar sales Strong business development and deal-closing ability Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and design solar solutions Experience conducting site assessments and needs analyses Exposure to EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) environments Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to engage with high-level stakeholders Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented Own reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed) If you are ready to take your solar sales career to the next level in a fast-growing and dynamic industry, we'd love to hear from you.
