Job Description

A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations during a specific shift at a workplace. Their job purpose typically includes the following key responsibilities:

  1. They manage and oversee the work of employees during their shift, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes assigning duties, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
  2. They are able to perform well in a high intensity stressful environment
  3. They are able to supervise a team of up three members effectively to maximise the service levels to the highest possible standards.
  4. They are able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to be developed in supervision.
  5. They are expected to attend various development training session in order to qualify for the rank of Site supervisor 1.
  6. They are able to compile various security related reports including CCTV review reports
Minimum requirements
  • Grade B - Psira registered and up to date
  • Grade 12
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Supervisory experience advantageous
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic software such as MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Outlook and the Hikvision CCTV control client.
  • Report writing skills - compile reports/reviews
  • Work well within a team
  • Leadership and Conflict management skills
  • Good Physical condition
  • No Criminal record
  • Good health

The candidate must be able to self-post to the site in Stellenbosch without any problems for every shift as rostered. Reliable transport will have to be proved.
