Reporting to the Senior Controls Manager, the Site Planner is responsible for the development, accuracy, effectiveness, and timely control of Project schedules to ensure successful project delivery.
The tasks you'll perform:- Support the Project Manager and the Site team to prepare Project Schedules and provide up-to-date data to assist with the management of project activities to the highest quality, ethical and in line with Company, Client and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain the various project planning specific procedures, work practices, plans, systems and protocols to enable efficient work and maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Colleagues and Contractors.
- Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Technical Studies
- 5+ years' experience in project-related Planning and Scheduling
- South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability in relevant, specific software; including Microsoft and Planning packages
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
