SITE MANAGER Bulk Materials Handling

Job Location: Eastern Chrome Mines Western Chrome Mines Middelburg Area

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering Grade 12 Ms Package Computer literate Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in materials handling or mining operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in construction and managing of Coal disposal facility's
• Sound knowledge of bulk material handling equipment
• Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.
• Valid driver's license.

GENERAL DUTIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate materials handling activities on site, including loading, hauling, stockpiling, and plant feed.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) to achieve production targets.
• Managing of Coal disposal facility's
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
• Manage operational budgets and control site expenses.
• Legal compliance to the Mine health and Safety Act and Labour Relations Act.
