Silo Maintenance Officer (Swellendam)

SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Grain Department in Swellendam. The suitable candidate is responsible for the daily activities related to Silo Maintenance.

• Responsible for general silo maintenance and repair work
• Maintenance on grain silo equipment, grain dryers, and other machinery
• Responsible for general administration associated with the work

• A relevant qualification and at least 5 years of relevant experience
• A valid driver's license with good planning and communication skills
• Experience in mechanical fitting and exposure to various welding techniques
• Be able to function well under pressure and in a pressured environment
• Be willing to work at heights, and overtime, depending on the operational needs
• Good physical condition with proof of good health and no dust allergies
