Job Description
Our Client, a prominent and leading business, is seeking to employ a Shipping Coordinator with export experience to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 09h00 - 15h00

Requirements:- Proven experience in shipping or logistics coordination
- Demonstrated export experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Articulate and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (non-negotiable)
- Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure
- Experience working with Pastel - advantageous but not essential
Shipping and Logistics
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and courier companies
- Arrange collections and deliveries for international, national, and local partners
- Manage and process export documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Prepare invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and related shipping documents
- Track shipments and resolve delivery or customs-related issues
- Maintain accurate shipping records and filing systems
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding collections, deliveries, and shipment updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the client base
- Handle queries efficiently and ensure high service standards
Reception and Administration
- Operate the company switchboard and direct calls appropriately
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Assist with capturing and processing information on internal systems
