Job Description

Ramsay Engineering would like to offer the opportunity to all employees who meet the requirements for the position that is available to apply.

Main purpose:

Produce units to the defined output rate. Accurately record all data on the data capture sheets timeously.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Quality
    • Ensure parts produced meet quality specifications and follow up on non-conforming product procedures.
    • Work cycle must be completed before leaving work.
  • Manufacturing
  • Raise problems and concerns to the Team Leader timeously.
  • Sew material, heat, thread and pin.
  • Attention to detail for precise stitching and finishing.
  • Ability to interpret and follow sewing patterns and specifications.
  • Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties.
Internal matrix customers:
  • Shift leader.
External Customers:
  • N/A
Internal Customers:
  • Production
  • Support Structures
Experience:
  • Experience in sewing with industrial machines.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar field.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12/Matric or equivalent
