SENIOR TECHNICAL ARTIST

Games Global Operations Limited

Job Description

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Technical Artist who thrives at the intersection of art and technology - someone who ensures assets move smoothly from concept through to engine ready implementation while maintaining performance, technical integrity, and visual quality.

This role focuses on integrating, optimizing, and maintaining game assets and production pipelines, ensuring our games perform reliably while preserving the artistic vision of the creative team.

You'll work closely with designers, developers, and artists of Stormcraft Studios to create engaging gameplay moments while contributing to the studio's animation quality and visual direction.

We're looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, collaboration, and improving production systems, and who is excited about building technically robust and visually polished games.

Experience with slot games, mobile games, or real time interactive pipelines is highly advantageous. Exceptional mid level candidates with strong growth potential are also encouraged to apply.

️ What you will be doing?

  • Integrate and optimize prepared game assets for implementation within the game engine.
  • Prepare and optimize 2D assets and animations for efficient engine integration while maintaining visual quality and performance.

  • Work closely with design and production teams to ensure translated content integrates correctly within asset templates and engine constraints.
  • Validate localized builds to ensure text expansion, font rendering, and UI behaviour function correctly across languages.
  • Ensure assets follow established file structures, naming conventions, and template standards to support scalable production workflows.
  • Ensure assets meet technical requirements for performance, memory, rendering, and platform constraints without compromising artistic intent.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to animation, UI, VFX, and asset implementation.
  • Maintain and improve technical art pipelines, asset processing workflows, and production standards.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure assets are production ready and engine compatible.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across gameplay features, animation systems, and UI components.
  • Maintain strong governance of production pipelines, asset standards, and release discipline.
  • Support QA and playability testing by identifying and resolving technical defects early in development.
  • Contribute to improving tools, automation, and workflows that increase production efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry tools, workflows, and technologies that support modern game pipelines.
