Senior / Purchasing Executive
Job Description
As a Senior / Purchasing Executive, some of your additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in line with company goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring their performance and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, market conditions, and potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement solutions that meet their needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries, and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information. Matching of PO, DO and invoices to ensure payment to suppliers are timely.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
- At least 3 years of procurement experience
- Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Team player, meticulous, detail-oriented
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills
- Proficient in the use of SAP & WMS
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
