We have amazing opportunities for a Senior Project Coordinator (Foundation) to be based in Eastern Cape. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The Senior Project Coordinator (Foundation) supports the Project Manager in the design, planning, and implementation of projects, while also leading the delivery of mid-size projects independently. The role acts as a deputy to the Project Manager, ensuring execution discipline, compliance with governance processes, and coordination of provincial support teams. The Senior Project Coordinator (Foundation) also provides mentorship to Project Coordinators and Administrators, building the next generation of project delivery staff.

You bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Development Studies, Business, or related field.
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3-5 years in project coordination or management support roles.s.

A bonus to have:

  • PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, CAPM, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing workstreams, budgets, and reporting at project level
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff

What You'll Do For The Brand:

Project Delivery & Support

  • Support Project Managers in planning and executing strategic projects.
  • Lead delivery of mid-size or less complex projects independently.
  • Manage risks, issues, and reporting requirements at the project level.
  • Ensure compliance with governance stage gates and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with PMO, MEL, Ops, and Marketing functions to ensure project alignment.
  • Liaise with external partners and communities to support implementation.
  • Ensure provincial support teams (Coordinators, Administrators) are effectively deployed.
  • Support integration of MEL into project design and delivery.
  • Ensure accurate data and evidence are collected for reporting.
  • Participate in after action reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Coaching & Team Development

  • Mentor Project Coordinators and Administrators assigned to projects.
  • Provide guidance on governance, documentation, and delivery discipline.
  • Promote the Foundation's culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Model Foundation values in teamwork and engagements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the foundation in local project forums/meetings.
  • Ensure local implementation reflects agreed plans.
