Own the architecture and delivery of complex, secure, and scalable Power Platform solutions. Lead technical direction, mentor others, and drive platform governance and ALM maturity.

Responsibilities
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture and integration patterns (custom connectors/APIM/Azure).
  • Lead ALM and CI/CD strategy; enforce quality gates and environment strategy.
  • Establish governance (DLP, security, telemetry) and contribute to CoE practice.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost; implement observability and SLOs.
  • Coach developers, run design reviews, and champion reusability (libraries/templates).
  • Engage with business leadership; translate strategic needs into technical roadmaps.
Architecture and Leadership
  • Define solution architecture: environment strategy, ALM, security model, data strategy, and integration patterns.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery: discovery, estimation, roadmap, release planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Govern reusability: component libraries, templates, connection references, pipelines, and conventions.
  • Implement complex integrations (custom connectors, SAP/DocuSign/SharePoint integration).
  • Optimize performance and scalability (delegation strategy, data partitioning, async patterns, concurrency).
Platform and Governance
  • Establish and evolve Center of Excellence (CoE) practices (admin connectors, inventory, app health).
  • Set DLP, environment, and security standards, partner with InfoSec and compliance.
  • Oversee ALM with Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps; enforce PR checks, automated tests, and approvals.
People and Stakeholder Management
  • Mentor developers; run code walkthroughs and guilds; conduct technical interviews.
  • Facilitate workshops, translate business problems into productized platform solutions.
  • Measure ROI/impact; influence leadership with data-driven platform metrics.
Skills
  • Complex apps, PCF usage/oversight, form logic, performance tuning, accessibility standards.
  • Custom connectors, APIM, SAP, DocuSign; secure secrets management.
  • Define reporting patterns, dataflows, semantic models, governance with lineage.
  • Least-privilege architecture, conditional access implications, data residency, auditability.
  • Establish CoE processes, platform telemetry, lifecycle metrics, and training programs.
  • Test strategy (unit/integration/perf), automated tests where applicable.
  • Architecture decision records (ADRs), runbooks, support models, and knowledge base design.
Qualifications
  • Matric and a tertiary qualification
  • 8+ years in Power Platform/M365/Azure solution delivery; proven large-scale implementations.
  • Experience with Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps; environment design.
  • Exposure to PCF (build or oversee), plugin/event framework (nice to have)
Certifications
  • Certifications: PL-400 and PL-600 preferred; Azure certs
  • AI-102 (if Copilot/AI integration is in scope)
