Reporting to the Principal Planner the Senior Planner is responsible for executing and monitoring Project schedules to ensure Projects are professionally delivered in line with Project, Client and Company requirements.

The tasks you'll perform
  • Prepare Project schedules to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Monitor designated project schedules and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure Project deliverables meet Company, Client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice and support as required.
  • Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing / business development activities as required. Prepare schedules for written proposals as requested.
The expertise you'll bring
  • Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8+ years' proven, relevant experience in same or similar role.
  • South African Citizen of Permanent Resident
  • Proven proficiency in Primavera.
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage accurate, detailed project schedules
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of Project Planning and Management.
  • Demonstrate ability to and/or proficiency in the use of relevant ERP and Project Management software packages.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
