Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist or in a position to register.
• Must have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in the consulting engineering sector, which should include FMCG, Building Services and Industrial Engineering Experience
• Must be competent with fire protection, wet services and HVAC systems designs.
• Must have experience with successfully completing rational fire assessments on new and existing buildings in the building services sector.
• Must have detailed knowledge of engineering activities required for consulting, engineering services, EPCM and EPC contracts
• Must have a broad understanding of, and have interacted with other design engineering disciplines, i.e., Process, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation, and Electrical
• Must have strong leadership and management skills in managing project teams
• Must be experienced in the compilation and submission of tenders and proposals for procuring consulting engineering work
• Must be prepared to travel within and outside RSA borders
