Senior German-Speaking Tour Series & Groups Sales Lead
Job Description
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience in tourism sales, ideally within a DMC, tour operator, or inbound group/series environment
- Proven success in Tour Series / Group Sales
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written - business level)
- Strong knowledge of Southern and/or East Africa as destinations
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple series and partners simultaneously
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to international B2B partners
- Experience working with Tourplan or similar quoting systems
- Exposure to MICE or special-interest group travel (cultural, incentive, educational, affinity groups)
- Own and grow the Tour Series and group segment for the DACH market
- Build and manage long term relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, and key B2B partners
- Proactively source new business, and convert leads into confirmed series and group departures
Amazing Africa is seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialist - Sales Tour Series & Groups (DACH Market) to lead and grow our German speaking tour series business. This is a senior, hands on sales role focused on building strong partnerships with tour operators and wholesalers across the DACH market, developing compelling series and group itineraries across Southern and East Africa, and converting opportunities into profitable, well run business. The role requires deep destination knowledge, strong commercial acumen, fluent German, and a proven track record in series or group sales within the tourism and DMC environment.
