Senior Field Technician (Construction Machinery & Geospatial)

• Salary R - R CTC (Negotiable based on experience)

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced FieldTechnicians to join a fast-paced environment within the construction and miningtechnology sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing technical solutions, supporting customers, and ensuring optimal performance of equipment across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the implementation of products and solutions on customer sites
• Test, validate, and ensure successful sign-off of implemented solutions
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on technical equipment
• Provide on-site and telephonic technical support to customers
• Diagnose issues and apply effective problem-solving techniques
• Maintain accurate service logs and manage field schedules
• Deliver operator training on implemented systems
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics
• Relevant technical qualification (Millwright NQF 4, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in product implementation and field service/support within the construction industry (yellow machines)
• Experience as a technician, mechanic, or auto electrician
• Basic understanding of vehicle hydraulics
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and testing skills
• Understanding of customer requirements and service delivery best practices

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
• Willing to use own vehicle for business travel when required
• Willing and able to travel extensively (approximately 5 nights per month) across Africa
• Physically fit and able to meet health and safety requirements

Advantageous:

• Experience in mining or construction machinery/technology environments
• Exposure to advanced technical solutions within similar industries

R - R CTC per month (Negotiable based on experience)
