Job Description
Job Specific Responsibilities 
- Lead and mentor a team of electronic technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Plan and coordinate daily workflow, assigning tasks based on workload and deadlines.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support technicians in effective resolution strategies.
- Perform calibration and repair of electronic equipment, especially for high-priority or specialized tasks.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for calibration, repair, and quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate records of calibration data, test results, and maintenance history using specialized software.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to identify process improvements and optimize resources.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customer inquiries and support needs.
- Provide mentorship and technical training to junior technicians.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to troubleshoot and verify electronic systems.
- Design and develop electronic circuits for testing, and repair applications, ensuring functionality and reliability.
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronic equipment calibration and repair.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with quality standards, Calibration Standards and documentation practices.
- 5 years' experience in a team leader format
