- Technical Leadership: Lead technical functions for projects and proposals, solving low-to-medium complexity engineering problems independently.
- Design Mastery: Develop and check discipline-specific deliverables, including E3D model development and detailed engineering layouts.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards by ensuring all work aligns with the 4-eye checking process, industry best practices, and legislative codes.
- Mentorship: Actively support the growth of junior staff, sharing your deep technical knowledge and assisting in the creation of training manuals and presentations.
- Innovation: Contribute to the evolution of departmental systems, software, and design procedures to drive efficiency and consistency.
We are looking for a professional whose experience is measured by the impact and complexity of projects completed, not just years on a calendar.
- Education: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering AND a valid Trade Test qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience within a contracting environment (specifically Petrochemical or Chemical industries).
- Tools: High proficiency in MS Office and discipline-specific design software.
