PayGenius is a fintech startup offering merchants a simple platform to accept online payments in multiple currency. Our mission is to simplify and automate payments in Africa. We focus primarily on the travel sector.

We are looking for an mid-junior developer to maintain our infrastructure, improve the existing products and help us drive innovation in the space through various enhancements. Our tech stack is based on Java and php. We use the Laravel Framework. We also have an iOS & Android app. The candidate must have a proven track record of delivering great tech software in a fast pace environment, have an entrepreneurial spirit, good communication skills, self awareness and high professional standards.

Your mission:

Maintain the PayGenius platform and its documentation

Answer integration queries from merchants

Develop enhancements to the platforms (backend and frontend) with the help of our tech partner Methys

Stay up to date with current innovations in the industry and help deliver innovative solution within the PayGenius stack

Requirements

Your profile:

Knowledge of java, php, laravel essential

Ability to set priorities and deliver on time

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast pace environment

Strong analytical skills

Goal and results oriented individual

Proficiency of English language essential

The candidate must have his own transport.
