Our client, a reputable firm based in Durbanville, is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to join their Transfer Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the conveyancing process, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations.
Managing Conveyancing Transactions:
Oversee the full conveyancing process, including drafting, reviewing legal documents, conducting property searches, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing queries, and resolving any concerns that arise during the transaction process.
Conduct thorough title research to identify any encumbrances or legal issues. Perform due diligence checks, including verifying planning permissions and building regulations.
Document Preparation & Review:
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and mortgage agreements with great attention to detail to ensure legal accuracy.
Coordination with Stakeholders:
Work closely with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth communication and collaboration throughout the process.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
Stay updated on relevant legal regulations and best practices, including anti-money laundering regulations, to ensure compliance and protect client confidentiality.
Case Management:
Maintain organized case files, track important deadlines, and manage multiple transactions simultaneously with excellent organizational and time management skills.
