Senior Change Management Consultant (SA)

Huble Digital Group
South African Rand . ZAR 400,000 - 500,000

Job Description

Welcome to Huble , HubSpot's 2024 global partner of the year! We are a global HubSpot, AI, marketing & creative consultancy enabling mid-market and enterprise businesses move faster, adapt smarter, and innovate freely-by building their business around HubSpot's CRM. We believe in striking a balance between professionalism and being human.

Who we're looking for: Software implementations succeed or fail based on people and process adoption, not technology. At Huble we recognise that structured, world class change management is of primary importance when implementing HubSpot. We want to double down on the commitment to our clients to provide not just technology but to change behaviours and drive results through our strategic consultancy services.

As a Senior Change Management Consultant you will be responsible for leading change management workstreams on HubSpot transformation programmes while simultaneously building and defining Huble's change management service offering. This is a dual-purpose role. You will both deliver high-impact client change engagements and help define, structure, and scale Huble's change management practice.

You will join our Delivery & Consulting Team, working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-facing environment. We are looking for a senior practitioner who is comfortable operating independently, influencing at executive level, and taking ownership of building something long-term and commercially viable.

Key Performance Areas: 1) Client Change Delivery (Primary Focus):

You will lead and execute change management workstreams across HubSpot implementation engagements, including:

  • Leading change strategy from discovery through to post-go-live adoption
  • Conducting stakeholder mapping and impact assessments
  • Identifying resistance, readiness gaps, and adoption risks
  • Designing change roadmaps aligned to programme milestones
  • Developing communication plans and training strategies
  • Defining and tracking adoption metrics and success indicators
  • Providing executive-level reporting on change readiness and risk

This work must:

  • Be structured and framework-led, but pragmatic
  • Integrate seamlessly with HubSpot implementation delivery
  • Drive measurable adoption outcomes
  • Support long-term behavioural and process change
2) Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement:

You will design and facilitate workshops with senior sponsors, programme teams, and end-users to:

  • Build leadership alignment and sponsorship
  • Clarify vision, case for change, and success measures
  • Address resistance and surface risks early
  • Enable change champion networks
  • Drive ownership within client teams
  • You will be confident engaging both C-suite stakeholders and operational users.
3) Change Methodology & Proposition Development:

Alongside delivery, you will build and formalise Huble's change management offering.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining Huble's change management methodology (adapting frameworks such as ADKAR, Kotter, or similar to the HubSpot implementation context)
  • Developing reusable templates, playbooks, and diagnostic tools
  • Creating structured service tiers that can be clearly scoped and priced
  • Supporting pre-sales conversations and proposal development
  • Contributing to thought leadership and internal enablement
  • Supporting future recruitment and onboarding as the practice grows

This work must:

  • Be commercially viable and clearly packaged
  • Be scalable across regions and delivery teams
  • Strengthen Huble's market differentiation
  • Raise delivery maturity across the organisation
4) Pre-Sales & Commercial Contribution:

You will support Sales and Consulting in positioning change management as a strategic enabler of transformation by:

  • Articulating the value of structured change to prospective clients
  • Contributing to proposal writing and scope definition
  • Participating in client discovery and pitch conversations
  • Ensuring clear alignment between commercial scope and delivery reality
5) Practice Growth & Internal Enablement:

As the practice grows, you will:

  • Deliver internal training to raise change awareness across delivery teams
  • Share knowledge through internal sessions and external thought leadership
  • Help embed a change-first mindset across Huble
️ To excel in this role, you should have the following:
  • 5+ years of change management experience, ideally within consultancy or agency environments
  • Demonstrable experience leading change on CRM, MarTech, SaaS, or digital transformation programmes
  • Deep knowledge of at least one established change management framework (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, McKinsey 7-S, ITIL, or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and executive briefings
  • Ability to produce high-quality written deliverables independently
  • Commercial awareness and consulting mindset
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA for client engagements
  • Prosci ADKAR certification or equivalent qualification
  • Direct experience with HubSpot (CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub)
  • Experience building or productising a consulting service
  • Second European language (French, German, Dutch, or Spanish advantageous)
  • Exposure to private equity-backed or high-growth scale-up environments
  • Strategic thinker with strong delivery discipline
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building from first principles
