We are recruiting for a Senior CFO Consultant & POD Leader to provide high-level strategic financial leadership to clients, while taking ownership of a POD's performance, growth, and team development.

• Conducting Financial Gap Analyses and developing 90 day action plans
• Preparing and reviewing board packs and management accounts
• Presenting financial results and insights to boards and management teams
• Leading annual budgeting processes aligned to strategy
• Reviewing financial models, valuations, and supporting fundraising initiatives
• Overseeing Annual Financial Statements and ensuring compliance
• Managing cash flow forecasting and liquidity discussions
• Identifying financial, operational, and compliance risks
• Delivering high-quality, senior level oversight on all client outputs

• Build trusted, long term strategic partnerships with clients
• Establish structured engagement rhythms and meeting cadences
• Proactively manage scope, time allocation, and billing alignment
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and scalability
• Facilitate strategy sessions and forward looking financial planning
• Identify cross sell and value add opportunities within engagements

• Represent OCFO at industry events, webinars, and panel discussions
• Actively grow and deepen your client portfolio
• Identify and pursue cross sell and up sell opportunities
• Partner with Growth on strategic positioning and target markets
• Contribute to proposal structuring, pricing, and engagement scoping
• Build referral networks and strategic partnerships
• Take ownership of POD profitability and financial performance
• Manage revenue growth, capacity planning, and cost management
• Lead, mentor, and develop CFOs and SAICA trainees
• Support quarterly portfolio planning and KPI alignment
• Maintain high standards of technical quality and client delivery
• Fulfil SAICA assessor and reviewer responsibilities (where applicable)
• Foster a high performance, accountable, collaborative culture
• Safeguard and reinforce OCFO's brand promise

• Ensure accurate timesheet completion and Zoho Project management
• Monitor billing alignment and engagement profitability
• Stay current with regulatory, tax, and accounting developments
• Pursue continuous professional and leadership development

• CA(SA) qualification and completed SAICA articles
• Minimum 5 years post articles experience
• At least 3 years' experience providing financial consulting to SMEs
• Proven experience presenting to boards and senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic advisory capability
• Consulting experience across multiple industries (Highly Advantageous)
• Senior positions of leadership within finance functions (Highly Advantageous)
