An engineering market leader is seeking a detail-focused, deadline-driven experienced SeniorBookkeeper who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and managing the fullbookkeeping function for several smaller entities, while also supporting theAccounts Payable (AP) team for a larger entity. This is a hands-on role for 3 months, suitedto someone who enjoys being close to the detail, takes ownership of accuratefinancial records, and works well within a collaborative, close-knit financeteam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full end-to-end bookkeepingto trial balance for multiple smaller entities using SAGE
  • Support the AccountsPayable (AP) function for a larger entity using Xero
  • Manage local creditors,supplier reconciliations, and ad hoc payments
  • Maintain and reconcilepetty cash and company credit cards
  • Perform generalbookkeeping, administration, and accurate record-keeping
  • Maintain Fixed AssetRegisters (FAR)
  • Assist with basicmanagement accounts and internal reporting
  • Prepare and submit VAT201 returns
  • Ensure all records are audit-readyand assist with audit file preparation
  • Use Excel forreconciliations, analysis, and reporting
  • Work collaborativelywithin the finance team to meet shared deadlines
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years senior-levelbookkeeping experience
  • Strong workingknowledge of SAGE, Xero, and Excel essential
  • Sound understanding ofVAT, FAR, and bookkeeping compliance
  • Experience supportingbasic management accounts
  • Strong attention todetail and ability to manage multiple entities

Working hours: 08h00 - 17h00 Monday to Thursday / 08h00 - 16h00 Friday
