Job Description

A professional services firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior B-BBEE Consultant to join their team. This pivotal role involves driving the full spectrum of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment consulting, from initial gap analysis and strategic planning to implementation tracking and final verification management. The successful candidate will act as a dedicated advisor, ensuring clients achieve their desired compliance levels through meticulous evidence compilation and professional liaison with SANAS-accredited agencies.

The position offers a balanced hybrid work model, requiring two days in the Westville office and providing three days of remote flexibility (if desired).

Responsibilities:

Facilitate annual B-BBEE strategy workshops to establish estimated scorecards and comprehensive action plans .

Execute structured quarterly monitoring sessions to assess implementation progress and resolve compliance roadblocks .

Oversee the continuous collection of supporting documentation and maintain detailed weekly compliance checklists .

Identify and escalate implementation risks promptly to ensure successful rating outcomes .

Manage the end-to-end verification process, including the compilation of BEE files and acting as the primary lead during agency ratings .

Deliver accurate, up-to-date technical advice regarding B-BBEE legislation and Sector Code developments .

Requirements

Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a B-BBEE consulting role or as a Senior Verification Analyst .

A Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent depth of professional consulting experience .(MDP is a plus)

Demonstrated mastery of B-BBEE legislation and analytical rigour .

Proven ability to build professional client relationships and manage tight deadlines .

Exceptional attention to detail and professional presentation skills .

Own vehicle to make client visits

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of the B-BBEE Management Development Programme (MDP) .

Required Software Skills

Intermediate Microsoft Excel .

Proficient use of BEE Trax scorecard and workflow platforms .

Hybrid work flexibility - 2 days office-based (Monday and Wednesday), 3 days remote (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), if desired

Collaborative and professional work environment

Fuel reimbursement at AA rate for travel to clients
