Senior Accountant

This role will be responsible for the accounting function as well as providing relevant support and decision-making information to other functions within the business for further optimization and efficiency

• Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts
• Assisting Financial Manager in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
• Take full responsibility for the general ledger through to the trial balance
• Analysis of variances and to spot trends and improve company performance
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasts
• Liaise with Department Managers to prepare meaningful and value-added variance analysis
• Loading, authorizing and approving bank payments
• Sales by product and user analysis
• Compile ad-hoc reports as requested
• Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet line items
• Manage the audit process with the external auditing firm
• Payroll management & administration experience required
• Working Experience with various banking platforms
• ERP Systems: Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Online, QuickBooks

• BCom/BAcc Finance/Accounting degree
• 3 years'+ experience in a similar role
• SAICA/SAIPA/ CIMA membership or completed article clerkship
• Experience within the Tech or Hosting environment an advantage
