Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and business reporting.
  • Oversee and process payments, including supplier payments, forex transactions, and cash-flow optimisation.
  • Manage all aspects of revenue processing, reconciliation, posting, and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Handle tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing monthly VAT workings and submissions, and maintaining SARS eFiling profiles.
  • Lead the year-end audit process, including preparing audit packs, managing audit progress, addressing queries, and finalising financial statements and adjustments.
  • Maintain financial systems, including managing Xero setup, GL codes, templates, system integrations, and access control for banking platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity across all platforms and manage unit transfer schedules.
  • Support SPV reporting, documentation, entity onboarding, and assist the Group Finance Manager and CFO with group-wide financial initiatives.
Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • 5 - 8 years in group-structure accounting/finance, strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, and SA financial regulation. Proficiency in Xero, SARS eFiling, online banking, and advanced Excel. Experience with audit processes and management reporting.
  • High work standards, strong ownership mindset, technical mastery, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, customer-centric thinking, ability to manage conflict, negotiate effectively, and build strong relationships.
