A dynamic and growing international business environment is looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to be involved in more than routine accounting . This role offers exposure to multiple entities, cross-border operations, and strategic finance work , where your input will contribute to real business decisions.

You'll work closely with experienced finance leaders while gaining exposure to diverse industries, international projects, and complex accounting environments . For professionals who enjoy variety and growth, the role also offers the possibility of travel linked to project work and international operations .

• Managing general ledger administration and accounting support
• Assisting with tax queries, compliance, and audit preparation
• Performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting backlog clean-ups and improving accounting processes
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Assisting with annual financial statements and audit schedules
• Supporting budgeting, planning, and financial strategy processes
• Handling VAT submissions and reporting
• Guiding and reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Contributing to finance team initiatives and continuous improvement

• 5+ years' experience in an accounting role
• Experience working with African countries, specifically DRC
• Strong knowledge of online accounting systems (QuickBooks experience advantageous)
• Excellent reconciliation and financial analysis ability
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident decision-maker with strong business insight
• Analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• High level of accountability and ownership for work delivered
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Adaptable and able to perform well in a changing environment
• Supporting the finance management team with additional ad-hoc tasks as required
