Second Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Second Engineer to join our team in the Shipping - General Cargo fleet. As a Second Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the technical operations of the vessel.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Supervise and train engine room personnel.

• Contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of the vessel.

• Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (STCW III/2 or III/3; Second Engineer)

• Valid STCW Training Certificates

• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in maintaining and repairing ship engines and equipment

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Excellent English communication skills
