Location: South Africa Permanent Position (Full-Time) (in-office)

Are you a technically minded professional with a passion for systems, data, and engineering support? We're seeking ahighly skilled and proactive SAMP Support Technicianto join our dynamic team and play a key role in the implementation, support, and optimization of theSAMP platformacross client sites.

This is ahands on rolefocused on helping clientsmaximize the valueof their engineering data through system configuration, data analysis, troubleshooting, and user training.

  • Implement and configure SAMP instances at client sites, including:
    • Functional Location (FL) & Inspection Location (IL) setup
    • Dashboard configuration, QCP creation, dynamic images, and risk assessment setup
    • Check sheet creation and inspections capture
  • Provide frontline technical support and resolve client issues via support tickets
  • Monitor data quality and integrity across the platform
  • Perform data analysis to identify inefficiencies and engineering related issues
  • Deliver hands on system training and develop user friendly training materials
  • Guide clients through system workflows including survey events, action tracking, and inspections
  • Recommend enhancements to improve system usage and client workflows
  • Promote and enforce safety standards and risk mitigation practices in line with HSEC plans
  • Collaborate with engineers, graduates, and other internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Reports to: SAMP Operations Lead
  • Works closely with: Service Engineers, Graduates, Clients
  • Maintains cooperative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Requirements Qualifications:
  • National Diploma in any Engineering discipline (essential)
Experience & Skills:
  • Experience working in engineering, technical project, or business support environments
  • Prior experience with data entry, system support, or platform management
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insights from data
  • Proficiency inMS Excel,Google Sheets, and platforms used for project tracking (e.g., MS Project, Google Suite)
  • Ability to develop process improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, and train users
  • A strong focus on client service, teamwork, and knowledge sharing
