Our client is seeking a strong, technically minded Sales & Operations Manager to take full control of the office and operational function. This role is ideal for a decisive, hands on leader with a solid electronic, security systems, or IT technical background who is comfortable managing people, supporting technical teams, and making executive decisions in the Director's absence.
This is not a passive administrative role - we require someone who can lead from the front, manage technicians, support sales staff, and ensure smooth day to day operations.
Key Requirements- Grade 12
- Proven background in Electronics, Security Systems, IT, or related technical field (5+ years essential)
- Strong technical understanding (must confidently support electronic/security technicians)
- Previous experience managing 10+ staff
- Sales management / technical sales exposure
- Strong leadership and decision making ability
- Assertive, firm, and solutions driven personality
- Highly organised and operationally strong
- Able to step into the Director's role when required
- Manage and oversee a team of approximately 12 staff members
- Assist with overflow sales
- Supervise technicians and ensure site attendance and productivity
- Coordinate daily operations and office function
- Support and guide technical sales staff
- Ensure technicians are deployed to sites efficiently
- Monitor performance, workflow, and deadlines
- Handle escalations and operational challenges
- Maintain structure, discipline, and accountability within the team
- Act as second in command when the Director is away
