- Processing accounting records up to trial balance
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- Performing bank, creditor, debtor, and VAT reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT, PAYE, UIF, and SDL submissions
- Supporting income tax calculations and submissions
- Maintaining accurate and well organised client files and working papers
- Assisting senior accountants with client queries and audit support
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirement
- BCom Accounting or similar qualification (completed or in progress)
- Intention to complete SAIPA articles
- Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Excel; accounting software experience advantageous
