IntroductionARE YOU OUR NEXT CASE CO-ORDINATOR? City Logistics is currently seeking a Risk Case Coordinator for a fixed term contract to be based in Durban. The Case Administrator supports the Risk team by managing and coordinating cases related to shipment issues theft, incidents, claims, and operational risks. The role focuses on accurate documentation, case coordination, and timely follow-up with risk managers on investigations and its progress to ensure that it is handled efficiently and in compliance with company standards. In addition, the role is responsible for the collection, tracking, and management of all risk investigations, assessments and evaluations conducted within the department.
YOUR CORE FOCUS AREAS- Open, track, and update risk, incident, and operational cases
- Collect, organize, and maintain all required documentation, evidence, and reports from Risk Managers (IR registration, preliminary report, progress report, final report and closing of IR)
- Coordinate with external partners, where applicable, to obtain required case information (e.g., polygraph test results or third-party reports)
- Maintain and manage accurate up-to-date case files and records
- Monitor case progress and follow up on outstanding actions to ensure a timely resolution.
- Prepare case summaries and reports for review and approval by the National Risk Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of all completed risk assessments and evaluations.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics risk, supply chain operations, or related processes.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and/or case management systems.
- 1-3 years of experience in administration, logistics, risk management, or a related field preferred.
