IntroductionClicks is on the hunt for an exceptional Risk and Security officer for our Montague Gardens Distribution Centre. The main purpose of the job is to ensure that H&S requirements are met within the dc, work closely with security and facilities manager in overseeing risk and loss in the dc.
- Manage security service level agreement
- Risk related investigations
- Developing and implementing security and safety programs
- Minimize financial loss related to theft, vandalism, accidents and injuries
- Develop ways for detecting safety issues and security violations
- Develop and implement and monitor H&S plan, processes and procedures and administration in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, relevant by laws and SANS standards
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results and corrective actions taken
- Conducting quarterly risk and assessments
- Manage cctv and service level agreement
- Minimum 3 years safety and risk management experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts 24/hr environment
- Security and cctv management knowledge
- Ability to communicate orally and written effectively
- Ability to prioritise numerous tasks and unexpected situations
- Pro efficient computer use and Microsoft office
- Diploma in Occupational health & safety
- Matric
- Sound understanding of OHSA
- Knowledge of fire prevention systems
