Job Description
We are seeking anenthusiastic and reliable RF Assistant Technician to support the installation,testing, and maintenance of RF and microwave transmission systems.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with installationand alignment of RF and microwave links.
- Support LOS surveys andsite preparation.
- Assist with connectingantennas, waveguides, and cables.
- Support testing of linkperformance and record results.
- Maintain tools, materials,and site cleanliness.
- Follow safety procedures,especially when working at heights.
- Report progress and issuesto the lead technician.
- Matric.
- Valid SouthAfrican driving license will be advantageous.
- Clearcriminal record.
- Validoccupational medical for driving and working at heights.
- Gravity Fall Arrest and BasicRescue certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in asimilar role.
- Basic understanding of RF andmicrowave transmission systems.
- Physically fit and able to workat heights (tower climbing certification is a plus)
- Willingness to learn and followtechnical instructions.
- Able to travel frequently todifferent telecom sites.
