Job Description

We are seeking anenthusiastic and reliable RF Assistant Technician to support the installation,testing, and maintenance of RF and microwave transmission systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with installationand alignment of RF and microwave links.
  • Support LOS surveys andsite preparation.
  • Assist with connectingantennas, waveguides, and cables.
  • Support testing of linkperformance and record results.
  • Maintain tools, materials,and site cleanliness.
  • Follow safety procedures,especially when working at heights.
  • Report progress and issuesto the lead technician.
Job Requirements
  • Matric.
  • Valid SouthAfrican driving license will be advantageous.
  • Clearcriminal record.
HSE Competency Requirements
  • Validoccupational medical for driving and working at heights.
  • Gravity Fall Arrest and BasicRescue certification.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in asimilar role.
  • Basic understanding of RF andmicrowave transmission systems.
  • Physically fit and able to workat heights (tower climbing certification is a plus)
  • Willingness to learn and followtechnical instructions.
  • Able to travel frequently todifferent telecom sites.
