The Immerse Experience at Camp of the Hills is designed to equip young adults with a deeper understanding of Christ-centered leadership through the development of professional skills, hands on ministry opportunities, and intentional discipleship within a Christian camp environment. This occurs through behind-the-scenes work, up front leadership opportunities, interactions with campers and guests, mentoring relationships, and working alongside Camp staff and volunteers with a shared purpose and vision.
The Retreats & Rentals Internship offers resume building responsibilities in event planning, event hosting, activity facilitation, guest communication, food service, and facility readiness oversight. The program maximizes the use of camp facilities during the non summer months (Sept April) to promote Kingdom purposes and generate income that supports our Summer Camp mission of offering low-cost camps to children from low income and at risk backgrounds.
The Retreat & Rental Ministry program hosts groups from churches (Youth Retreats, Men's Retreats, Women's Retreats, etc.), family reunions, professional groups, weddings, Airbnb stays, and volunteer groups that play a critical role in COTH's mission year-round.
Responsibilities- Plan and host events for retreats, weddings, and other group gatherings.
- Facilitate activities and maintain engaging programming for guests.
- Communicate with guests regarding event details and logistics.
- Provide food service support during events.
- Ensure facilities are ready and maintained for all activities.
- Collaborate with Camp staff and volunteers to support shared mission objectives.
