Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead and grow their retail sales operation. This role requires a hands on leader with strong people management skills and a solid retail sales background.
Minimum Requirements- Proven experience as a Retail Sales Manager or similar role, at least 4 years.
- Must have knowledge of steel and industrial hardware.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Solid understanding of retail sales targets, KPIs, and stock management
- Hands on, results driven, and customer focused approach
- Must reside in Cape Town, preferably close to the Epping area
- Reliable transport and ability to work retail hours
- Manage and motivate the retail sales team to achieve and exceed targets
- Drive in store sales performance, upselling, and customer experience
- Oversee daily retail operations, stock control, and merchandising standards
- Monitor sales figures, prepare reports, and implement improvement strategies
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated queries when required
- Train, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and retention
