Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead and grow their retail sales operation. This role requires a hands on leader with strong people management skills and a solid retail sales background.

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Manager or similar role, at least 4 years.
  • Must have knowledge of steel and industrial hardware.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Solid understanding of retail sales targets, KPIs, and stock management
  • Hands on, results driven, and customer focused approach
  • Must reside in Cape Town, preferably close to the Epping area
  • Reliable transport and ability to work retail hours
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate the retail sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Drive in store sales performance, upselling, and customer experience
  • Oversee daily retail operations, stock control, and merchandising standards
  • Monitor sales figures, prepare reports, and implement improvement strategies
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated queries when required
  • Train, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and retention
