Retail & Client Experience Consultant

Masch Atelier is seeking an experienced, polished and proactive Retail & Client Experience Consultant to join our Stellenbosch boutique full-time.

This is not an entry-level retail role. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2+ years retail experience who understands structured store environments, takes ownership of daily responsibilities, and confidently drives sales performance.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, well-presented, and naturally strong with people.

• Deliver exceptional, high-end client service aligned with the Masch brand
• Assist clients with styling across handbags, clothing, jewellery and perfume
• Confidently drive in-store sales and meet monthly targets
• Build strong relationships with returning clients
• Maintain strong product knowledge at all times

• Take responsibility for daily store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain impeccable store presentation and visual merchandising standards
• Manage stock control and assist with inventory counts
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure store cleanliness and organisation

• Represent Masch with confidence and professionalism
• Assist with in-store launches and events
• Contribute ideas to enhance the boutique experience

• Minimum 2+ years retail experience (fashion or luxury preferred)
• Proven ability to meet sales targets
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Strong people skills and emotional intelligence
• Well-presented and professional
• Organised and dependable
• Comfortable working independently

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical in-store assessment to evaluate styling ability, sales approach, and communication skills.
