Reserve Manager

Luxury Property Group Western Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and driven Reserve Manager to join a luxury property group based in the Western Cape. This senior role is ideal for a hands on leader with strong operational, conservation, and people management experience within high end reserve or lodge environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the reserve
  • Manage and maintain wildlife, land, and conservation programmes
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, train, and manage reserve and field staff
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs effectively
  • Oversee infrastructure, maintenance, and reserve vehicles
  • Coordinate with hospitality, guiding, and management teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Uphold the standards and vision of the luxury property group
Requirements
  • Proven experience in reserve or conservation management within a luxury lodge or private reserve environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Sound knowledge of wildlife management, conservation practices, and land management
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make informed operational decisions
