Requisitions Clerk

Quantum Insights is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Requisitions Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Requisitions Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and tracking all purchase orders and requisitions for our company. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our expanding organization.

• Process and track all purchase orders and requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and requisitions, including pricing, delivery dates, and any changes or updates
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all requisitions are properly authorized and within budget
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with purchase orders or requisitions, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and distribute reports on purchasing activity and budget status to management
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and external vendors
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes and procedures is an asset
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player
