Reporting Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Port Elizabeth team.

• Prepare month end accrual journals
• Various interest calculations and adjustments
• Reconciliations of 2 systems
• Preparing elimination amounts for monthly consolidated accounts
• Complete Management Accounts of a separate local entity
• Maintenance of FAR, including all instalment sale agreements
• Full responsibility of other International Entities, including:
  • Complete management accounts monthly
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of information on various database
  • Weekly accuracy and completeness checks on reports and Power BI
• Sales invoicing and some bank processing involved
• Build knowledge and familiarity with statutory requirements for oversees entities
• Work closely with accountants oversees to ensure fulfilment of statutory- and other requirement
• Liaise with commercial team and attend to commercial team queries
• Acc sales finalisation
• Capturing payments from customers into QX accurately and timeously
• Ensure that sales values reflect best estimate values
• Full responsibility and ownership of customers in the FE, SEA and RUS markets
• Producer tasks include
• Grower invoices and reconciliations
• Preparing payments for weekly payments meeting
• Sending remittances of payments made
• Full responsibility and ownership of certain producers

• CA (SA) or
• BCom Accounting with completed SAIPA Articles
• Advanced MS Excel skills
