Overview

Responsibilities
  • Tenant placement: processing applications, vetting, reference checks, credit checks, FICA compliance and reporting.
  • Lease administration: drafting mandates and lease agreements, double checking new agreements, uploading documentation to WeconnectU (rental management software).
  • Lease renewals: sending notices, attending to addendums, invoicing, updating systems.
  • Lease exits & deposits: inspections, refunds, recoveries, closing accounts.
  • Maintenance: logging requests, coordinating contractors, tracking completion.
  • Billing & payments: assist with monthly billing, arrears follow-up, mapping payments.
  • Statements: preparing and sending tenant and landlord statements.
  • Communication: first point of contact for tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  • General administration: record-keeping, notices, inspection packs, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Previous property management and admin experience (at least 2 years)
  • Fully qualified Property Practitioner (NQF Level 4, equivalent or higher)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of WeconnectU / RedRabbit / Averley is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills (English essential; Afrikaans an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
  • Trustworthy and professional, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
