Remote (South Africa-based) Freelance High-End Retoucher (Automotive Brand) - Ad Hoc -Rate: R600/h

We are looking for an experienced High-End Retoucher to support an international automotive brand on an ad-hoc, remote basis. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver premium, photo-realistic retouching suitable for high-end advertising and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive retouching, working with high-resolution imagery, and delivering work that meets global brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-end retouching on automotive campaign imagery
  • Ensure images meet premium advertising and brand standards
  • Work with high-resolution photography and layered files
  • Execute precision colour grading, reflections, and surface corrections
  • Retouch bodywork, lighting, shadows, and reflections to achieve photo-realistic results
  • Prepare final assets for digital, social, and print campaigns
  • Collaborate remotely with creative teams and art directors
Requirements
  • Advanced Adobe Photoshop retouching skills
  • Strong understanding of automotive surfaces, reflections, and lighting
  • Experience with high-end advertising imagery
  • Excellent colour correction and compositing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and visual quality
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years professional retouching experience
  • Proven experience working on automotive campaigns or similar high-end product work
  • Experience working with international brands or agencies is advantageous

Must be South Africa-based
