Job Description
Location: Life Riverfield Lodge
Reports to: Linda Elsey, Unit Manager
The successful candidate will provide holistic patient care and develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders in line with company and hospital strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Effective cost management for staff and stock by evaluating employee labour hours and managing debit and credit hours.
- Minimise unnecessary stock wastage and facilitate maintenance of equipment.
- Identify and ensure staff undergo department-specific micro orientation.
- Ensure daily care rounds are conducted and investigate complaints.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and adequate information to patients and family members during hospitalization.
- Monitor and implement preventative measures to minimise risk, including SHEQ and infection control.
- Comply with ISO requirements for infection control.
- Identify doctors' preferences and stakeholder needs and implement them in the working environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in nursing.
- Experience in mental health is an advantage.
- Current registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players is an advantage.
