We are looking for a strategic and technicallyskilled Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth with existing and newcustomers across Eastern Africa. In this role, you will strengthen SSAB SpecialSteels' market position and execute our regional strategy. Location Kenya, East Africa.

About the positionYou will be a part of a team located in Kenyaand work closely with both technical support function and inside sales,reporting to Area Sales Manager for Western Africa. You will have access to anextensive product portfolio that can support a diverse customer base.
You have the responsibility to develop directand indirect sales together with SSAB support functions. In this role you willdevelop new customers, segments and applications, as well as upgrade existingand new customers to more advanced materials.
Regular travel within East Africa and theneighboring regions is required.
Main responsibilities- Lead sales activities in line with SSAB's values, delivering solutions and building long term customer relationships.
- Achieve regional revenue and profitability targets and create conditions for sustainable sales growth.
- Expand the customer base, nurture existing accounts, and prioritize opportunities aligned with corporate objectives.
- Plan and forecast sales activities; prepare presentations, reports, quotes, and support contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights proactively.
- Prospect new business and promote SSAB's value added services and advanced steel solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Technical Development Managers, Marketing, Product Support and other internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education & experience.
- 3-8+ years' sales experience in steel, mining, industrial, recycling, or maintenance/repair industries.
- Strong communication skills, high level of organization, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent customer service under pressure.
- Strong analytical ability, problem solving mindset, good teamwork skills, and a proactive, professional approach.
- Proven sales achievement and ability to position technical product benefits to customers.
- Advantageous: experience with drawings, templates, and industrial applications.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- You have a proactive approach to new business opportunities and continued improvements, and you truly enjoy creating partnerships with internal & external customers.
