Location: South Africa (Remote - US Hours)

Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm (US Hours)

Role Overview

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the recruitment function to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality talent across multiple roles and industries. This role focuses on driving recruitment strategy, managing and developing a high-performing recruitment team, and partnering closely with stakeholders to meet evolving hiring needs. The Recruitment Manager plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional candidate experience while continuously improving recruitment processes through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruitment professionals to consistently achieve and exceed hiring targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and support ongoing training and development.
  • Develop and implement innovative, scalable recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across multiple roles and industries.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and clients to understand workforce planning needs and translate them into effective hiring plans and job descriptions.
  • Oversee the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from role intake and sourcing to offer management and onboarding handover.
  • Ensure a consistently positive and professional candidate experience at every touchpoint.
  • Monitor recruitment pipelines, identify risks or bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Use data-driven insights, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate recruitment performance and continuously improve processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing priorities and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, talent availability, and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a recruitment leadership or management role, preferably within outsourcing, agency, or a fast-paced hiring environment.
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment knowledge, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
  • Confident problem-solver with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technology tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
